IBEW Local 520 donates hand sanitizer to local businesses during pandemic

The proud members of IBEW Local 520 continue to give back and support small businesses and organizations in the region during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In San Angelo, where a second Local 520 Union Hall recently opened, Organizer Diarmid Campbell delivered bottles of hand sanitizer to area small businesses for use by employees and customers.

In total, IBEW Local 520 donated between 400 and 500 personal bottles of hand sanitizer to local businesses and organizations in hopes that people feel more comfortable visiting businesses and help get the local community back on track.

Local 520 spread their hand sanitizer donations across San Angelo businesses including Man Made Fitness, Torque Haircuts, various local retail stores and restaurants. Additional bottles were delivered to the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and the San Angelo chapter of the NAACP.

These donations are on top of the hand sanitizer that was donated previously to local contractors and all IBEW 520 members.
