Former Local 520 President Lane Price retires after 45 years of service

IBEW Local 520 offers a warm congratulations to Brother Lane Price, a former President of Local 520, who recently retired after 45 years of service.

The Price family has been an integral part of Local 520’s history for more than 95 years. They helped forge the Local to be what it is today, including Lane’s grandfather, Theo Price, who mortgaged his home to keep the Local afloat during the Depression.

Brother Price was an integral part of that proud legacy. He served in every office other than Business Manager and was an instructor for many years. He influenced the careers of generations of IBEW electricians.

A regular at monthly Union meetings for decades, Brother Price attended his last Local 520 meeting on Dec. 17. As stated during the meeting, and again here, the members of Local 520 wish Brother Lane Price a long and healthy retirement.

We hope he enjoys the golden years, spending time with family and friends, thanks to the well-earned fruits of his hard work as a union electrician. We thank you for your years of dedicated service to our union.
